Rare antique set of two travel glass perfume/scent bottles with stoppers in a velvet hinged case. To the best of my knowledge this set was made in France sometime during mid to late 1800s, could be earlier. The bottles are made of clear pressed glass with faceted stoppers.
The case is made of velvet with a leather insert? I'm not quite sure whether it is leather or some other material, but it is decorated with floral scrolls. The liner in the interior is silk or satin.
The box is accented with metal framing and hinges. Please see pictures for more details.
Measures: the bottles approximately 4.25 H with the stopper inserted. The case is about 4.60"H and about 4.5" wide.
