Vintage JKW Decor Carlsbad Sugar Creamer Two Cups Saucers Set Love Story Germany

  

This is a stunning set by JKW Decor of Carlsbad of Germany. The set consist of a sugar and creamer and two cups and saucers which are more demitasse size.

This was inspired by the French painter Fragonard and is often called'Fragonard Love Story' or Fragonard Courting Couples' as the artwork is displayed on each piece. I believe this was produced between 1930 and 1945. It does have the blue beehive backstamp and marked with the JKW backstamp.

The creamer stands abut 3.5 inches, the sugar bowl is about 5 inches from the ends of the handles, the cups stand 1.75 inches and are 3 inches in diameter and the saucers are 4.5 inches in diameter. These are in great condition with no issues to note. These are such a regal set and would make a elegant display.
