VERY RARE MATCHING 1/9 PLATE DAGUERREOTYPES OF ID'ED SISTERS BY BECKERS & PIARD - You are considering a very rare pair of ninth plate daguerreotypes by the renown operators, Beckers and Piard. The two portraits are identified in the back of the two cases; see my listing photos for details. Their names appear to be Claudine and Julia C. The images reside in the matching set of cases which are also in amazing condition.

Any collector who loves plates stamped on the mats by legendary artists of the Daguerreian era would adore this pair in their collection. Good luck to my next caretaker. Each plate retains wonderful contrast, tonal range and sharpness.

The mats have Beckers and Piards' name and address stamped boldly at the bottom of their matching mats. The two cases as mentioned above is miraculously in excellent antique condition with tiny identifications glued into the backside of their respective cases.
