Set of Two! Early Antique Javanese Folk Art Wayang Kulit Naga Shadow Puppets

  
Set of Two: Rare and Early Javanese Serpent Shadow Puppets made from what I believe is Water Buffalo Hyde. Bamboo sticks may or may not be period. Bought at an antique shop about 30 years ago and had these framed under glass all this time, which unfortunately broke in a move. Beautifully painted and very fine hand carving. And the other a tiger.

These are going for several hundred dollars each online. Intricate designs and attention to detail make it a unique addition to any collection of Indonesian collectibles or cultural artifacts. They measure about 10-11 each.
