Super Rare badges as shown on page 200 of NATO Forces Illustrated Guide by Davis. The first larger metal badge shown is for the NATO Small Arms Test Commission set up in order conduct a series of tests on rifles and lmg's and associated ammunition. This field test included 29 Canadians at Hammelburg Germany in 1978 and 1979 only.
The cold weather tests were done in Canada and the second plastic type badge was worn at the cold weather tests. It is missing its pin but is inscribed with a serial number I believe. Again, super rare to find and especially at one time.
