Offering the most elegantly decorated and modeled Jean Pouyat tall covered chocolate/teapot, two cups & saucers, w/ an exquisite baroque form tray. Originally retailed at GUMPS, San Francisco. The floral decorations are SO elaborately detailed, which combine beautifully with a VERY DRAMATIC tray in a scrolling baroque form, This impressive set's tray measures 19"x16"; the pot stands 12" tall x 6" diameter at flared base; the cups are 2 3/8" diameter x 3" tall; the saucers are 5 diameter. The gilding on cups and pot are very fine...

Visually, this is one of the more graceful and elegant forms I've seen in such a set. All the pieces are superb, but the large and dramatic form of the tray is really exceptional! This is a VERY EXCITING ensemble in one of Pouyat's more elegant and popular patterns.
