Name : Antique French perfume box. Period : Second half of the 19th century. 9 for Napoleon III perfume of excellent quality and in excellent condition, made in France in the second half of the 19th century. Rectangular, made of leather with rounded lid and push-button closure. It is decorated with small ashlar elements. Inside, the light blue velvet housing (10x5 cm) contains two delightful glass perfume bottles: square photo: 3x3 cm; h. 5, with frames on the neck and on the lids in engraved golden metal. The upper part of the lid of each ampoule is painted with miniature scenes of urban Paris (photo) with the verre églomisé technique : it was painted upside down on the inner surface of the glass.
