Set of two rare antique Ethiopian two-pronged (bident) spear heads, 1900, Africa
Two, very rare iron lance / spear heads from Ethiopia / Somalia that are two pronged (bident). They were not used ceremonially but the blades are sharp and show traces of actual use according to age. They probably date to around 1900.
The smaller with two large blades sitting opposite to each other is 14 in. / 35.5 cm long.The longer with small blades sitting next to each other is 15.5 in.
