From the Andes Mountains of Peru. Two Ritual Caliza Stone Conopas. These Inca Ritual offering conopas in the shape of alpacas, hand carved out of Caliza stone, with a hole in its back called a "qocha" (lagoon) the container for offerings during the ceremony " Haywarisqa" (ceremony of offerings). The offerings are llama fat and coca leaves.Some Andean people use the conopas as an amulet, they place them in a special altar in their homes. These conopas came from a Sunday market in the village nearby Cusco, Perú.
